This is a free online platform that allows students to apply to multiple colleges and universities with just one application. Instead of filling out separate applications for each school, you can complete your personal information, activities, essay, and recommendations once and send them to any of the 1,000+ colleges that accept the Common App.
This saves time, helps you stay organized, and ensures consistency across your applications. The Common App also makes it easier to track deadlines, manage supplemental essays, and request recommendations all in one place. While some colleges may still require their own unique application, the Common App is an efficient way to apply to several schools at once without duplicating your efforts.
Parchment is a secure platform that lets you request and send your official transcripts directly to colleges, universities, and scholarship programs. Most schools prefer transcripts sent through Parchment because it’s fast, trackable, and puts the control in your hands.
To use it, simply create an account, select your high school, and follow the prompts to send your transcript to any school or program you choose.
We encourage all students to use Parchment whenever possible so you can manage your own applications with confidence. If you run into any issues or have a special circumstance, you can still submit a transcript request through the counseling office. They're always there to help when needed.
