Scholarship Central grew from a profound realization: the search for higher education funding is incredibly difficult. During my first year as a high school counselor, I did everything possible to find and share scholarships with my seniors. Unfortunately, it never felt like enough. The need was vast, and the resources were scattered. Thus, Scholarship Central was born.

I spent the following summer creating, adjusting, and perfecting the platform you see today. It remains a continuous work in progress. I am constantly discovering new strategies and tools to make the application process easier to navigate. Packed with comprehensive resources, this platform is my best effort to answer the real questions my students and their guardians ask every day.

Moving forward, my ultimate goal is to provide West Virginia students with the best possible tools to build successful scholarship and college applications. To quote one of my former students, "Debt-free education is possible!" My hope is that this platform helps many students. But truly, if it helps even just one achieve their dreams, my job was well done.
